IGVC
"The IGVC offers a design experience that is at the very cutting edge of engineering education."
Held at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, The Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition is a yearly event where 25+ student teams compete with their intelligent ground vehicles, testing technologies representing intelligent transportation systems, manufacturing and military mobility.
IGVC 2023 RESULTS
First place in Design Challenge
First place in Cybersecurity Challenge
First Indian team ever to win the Design Challenge.
AutoNav
The AutoNav competition is designed for a small semi-rugged outdoor vehicle.
A fully autonomous unmanned ground robotic vehicle must negotiate around an outdoor obstacle course
under a prescribed time while maintaining a minimum of speed of one mph over a section and a maximum speed limit of five mph.
The vehicles are ranked based on net distance and time scores given by judges after taking penalties
Self Drive
The purpose of Self Drive is provide teams with the skills and experience required to develop automotive smart driving cars or defense intelligent vehicle systems compatible with current roadways and future intelligent highway systems. Those capabilities include camera vision systems, lane following obstacle and pedestrian avoidance and roadway and parking driving
maneuvers.
